I have received basic SEO training from various sources, e-books, personal advice from SEO Experts, and from webinars. I have also received free online SEO training from other sources, such as those who offer free SEO e-books, and other methods of training. If there was one piece of advice that I were to offer to absolutely anyone, no matter how new or old you are to SEO and web publishing and promotion is, it would be “Never stop learning and never stop reading“. It is that simple.

Before I go on, I would like to refer you to Frank Kern’s “Mass Control” . The article on the page that I am referring you to is a bit lengthy to watch, but as a webmaster, this is something that I want to encourage as many people to watch as possible.

It is true, we are facing the greatest ten years of our lives. The Internet used to be so small, I was even too scared to use my credit card online, and now we look at how comfortable we all are, and it is just amazing. Everyone is moving to the Internet. People, businesses, everything. And we are all in the best position possible to make something out of this, and in a way, lead everyone here and share the spoils. I too was new to this once, and to be completely honest, I had no idea what I was doing. I would literally start a new website, and complain because no traffic was coming in. Laughable now, I know, I had no idea how to promote a website, I didn’t know what SEO was, or anything. All I knew was I wanted to be published.
